  16.        The error checking in imgtcl is incomplete.  It is fairly
  17.        easy to construct a bogus script that will abort imgtcl.  In
  18.        particular, be careful about referencing undefined
  19.        variables.

  24.        On Onyx/RealityEngine systems running Irix 6.2 it is
  25.        possible for imgview to exit with a "BadAlloc" error from
  26.        the X server. This sometimes occurs when the ImageVision
  27.        Library attempts to allocate more pbuffers to accelerate
  28.        processing if all of the processing operations are enabled.
  29.        The workaround is to disable acceleration (from the 'Edit'
  30.        menu on the Processing panel) if this occurs.

  35.        Attempts to load animated GIF images with imgworks can fail
  36.        with a SIGSYS. The work around is to use imgview which uses
  37.        the newer version of the GIF file reader.

  43.        advantage of the newer IFL file formats. An alternative is
  44.        to use imgview.
